 Real Foods was purchased in 1982. Its main business is importing food items, some of these are international brands from around the world for supply to the New Zealand & Australia Grocery Industry
We are exclusive New Zealand Agents for such international brands as:
Vitasoy: Soy Milk & Rice Milk (Australia)
Fragata: Olives Capers (Spain)
Steric/Country Gold: Lemon Lime juice (Australia)
Sunreal (our own brand setup in NZ)): cereals, dried fruits, fruit snacks now healthy 'snack on the go' & 'lunch box' snacks. In many cases we pack / process off-shore (Turkey, Chile, Thailand) to gain cost efficiencies and add value to the end user.
In 1996, Real Foods re-located into their company owned, purpose built facility near the Auckland International Airport (5,500 square metres warehouse/production plus 900 square metres office complex). Approximately 100mt of product is distributed weekly from this facility to stores throughout New Zealand.
Today, Real Foods has a full-time workforce of around 25 employees. We have an associated Sales Brokerage company called Strikeforce who are again affliated to the Strikeforce group in Australia, with a strong, nationally appointed sales force, supported by a fully trained merchandising team ensuring that efficiently service the New Zealand & Australia grocery market.
